Maldives Transport and Contracting Company has decided to hold their annual general assembly on 26th of this month.

A statement issued by the company states that the assembly will be held on 26th April at 9:00 pm in the ballroom of Hotel Jen.

According to MTCC, those who were registered as shareholders till 18th of this month can take part in the assembly and those who are interested in taking part in the assembly should register before 24th of this month. The application forms to register for the assembly will be available from the website of MTCC and from the Corporate Affairs Department of MTCC which is located on the 7th floor of the main office of MTCC.

Items on the agenda of this year’s assembly include presenting of the report by the directors, distribution of profit for shareholders, selecting the auditors of the company, amending the company by laws, and appointing directors who will represent the shareholders.

MTCC also published their annual report for last year today. According to the report the company made 145 million Rufiyaa as profit last year.

MTCC is a public company and was formed in 1980.
