Jumuhoory Party has decided to hold their 3rd national congress on 28th and 29th of June at Paradise Island Resort.
According to JP, they decided to hold the congress at Paradise Island Resort because they could not get a venue at Male’ because Housing Ministry refused to provide any.
Secretary General of JP, Ahmed Sameer said that while they are making the final preparations for the congress, they are worried that the Civil Court has still not made a decision regarding JP’s flag and logo. “We see that the political cases are being deliberated at a fast speed by the courts but JP’s case has been lodged for almost a year now” said Sameer.
Sameer said that JP will make a decision on how they will proceed during the presidential elections during the congress.
