At a ceremony held this evening at Guraidhoo School, the Vice President Abdulla Jihad has received donation money from Holiday Inn Resort to develop the Home for People with Special Needs in Kaafu Atoll Guraidhoo Island, on behalf of the centre. The donation was made as part of their corporate social responsibility projects.

Speaking at the event, Minister of Health Abdullah Nazim Ibrahim described President Yameen as the champion of people with special needs, and highlighted the importance given by this administration to ensuring the wellbeing of people with special needs.

The Vice President was accompanied by Minister of Health Abdullah Nazim Ibrahim and General Manager of Holiday Inn Resort Joseph Della Gatta.
