President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has arrived back in Male’ today, on the conclusion of his three-day visit to some islands of Kolhumadulu Atoll.
President Yameen began his three-day visit to some islands of Kolhumadulu Atoll on Monday. On day-one, the President inaugurated clean water services in Thimarafushi Island. The President then took part in the ceremony to mark the completion of the beach protection project in Veymandoo Island. He also took part in the ceremony held to mark the completion of beach protection project in Kandoodhoo Island.
On Tuesday, President Yameen inaugurated the sewerage services system in Buruni Island, Kolhumadulu Atoll, and marked the completion of Vilufushi Island’s road development project.
As the last day of the President’s tour of Kolhumadulu Atoll, the President Yameen inaugurated the sewerage services system in Dhiyamigili Island, and initiated the services of sewerage system in Madifushi Island and marked the completion of the reclamation and shore protection project in Madifushi Island.
