MP Faaris Maumoon has filed a case at the Civil Court against the government authorities for not taking him to parliament sessions. Faaris filed the case today.
Faaris alleges the state of not taking him to the parliament sessions after arresting him on July 18th. He states that this is against article 205 of the parliamentary legislation. He says that, this has violated the rights of the people of Dhiggaru constituency.
Faaris also states that the state should reimburse the loss incurred by the people of Dhiggaru for the days they were not represented in the parliament.
