Spokesperson of the government, Ibrahim Muaz has said that the government will bring criminals perpetrating violence in the capital city to justice.

In an interview to Miadhu Daily, Muaz said that two people have been killed so far and many have been injured in recent escalation of gang related violence.

“We are hearing these sad news every day. We will bring these perpetrators to justice,” he said.

He assured that the government will restore stability and peace in the country and will provide the people a peaceful environment.

In this regard he said that the Maldives Police Service will increase security measures to prevent crimes.
