Dr. Yasir Qadhi has said that if Allah helps a person no one can win over that person. He said that the help of Allah will be granted only when a person fulfills what is required for him to strengthen his faith.

Dr. Yasir Qadhi made this remark at third lecture of "The Message" Series organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affair. The lecture was held at Alimas Carnival last night.

He said that the most content and happy person is the one who attains faith and tastes the sweetness of that faith.

Dr. Yasir said that in the Qur’an Allah makes a similitude of Iman with a tree whose roots are firmly established and whose branches reach far into the sky. He said that this parable, which describes Iman, is the primary theme of this presentation. The speaker summarizes several lessons regarding the benefits of having sincere faith.

He added that tasting the sweetness of Iman is something that many have not experienced. Many state that this lecture would assist the one who yearns to experience the great fruits of Iman.

Yasir Qadhi was born in Houston, Texas and completed his primary and secondary education in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He graduated with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston, after which he was accepted as a student at the Islamic University of Madinah.

After completing a diploma in Arabic, he graduated with a B.A. from the College of Hadith and Islamic Sciences. Thereafter, he completed a M.A. in Islamic Theology from the College of Dawah, after which he returned to America and completed his doctorate, in Religious Studies, from Yale University.
