Obama and Putin holds talks on the Syrian conflict

President of the United States Barak Obama and President of Russia Vladimir Putin has met on the side-lines of G20 summit in China and discussed the ongoing Syrian conflict.

Sources say that the duo spent around 90 minutes discussing on ways to reduce conflict and getting humanitarian aid in to the country. According to Reuters both the presidents have instructed their foreign ministers to meet within the week and further negotiate on ways USA and Russia can cooperate in the Syrian conflict.

Citing an official of the US Administration, Reuters reported that it is expected that both the countries will get into an agreement on how to deal with the conflict in Syria.

In addition to Syria, sources say that they discussed Ukraine as well. Leaders from the G20 nations has been arriving in China since last week to participate in the summit.
