MP for Dhangethi constituency Ilham Ahmed and his wife has joined ruling party PPM. Till now Ilham was a deputy leader in Jumuhoory Party. Ilham joined PPM tonightat a ceremony held in Dharubaaruge by the President Yameen faction of PPM.

The ceremony was attended by President Yameen as well. Ilham played a key role in formation of DRP and PPM. Ilham was a deputy leader in PPM before he joined JP.

Sources close to MP Ilham say that he joined PPM again because PPM is a party he worked hard to create and that he wants to do what is best for the people at a time PPM is undergoing internal problems

Ilham is the member who has got maximum benefits including huge financial assistance from JP Leader Qasim Ibrahim.
