Opposition coalition has 49 parliament members now : Abdul Aleem

Abdul Aleem Muhammad a close associate of Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom have said that the opposition coalition now has 49 parliament members.

Aleem said that when the parliament re-convenes those members will be revealed and that they joined the coalition with great determination.

He said that the government arrested Qasim to see who has joined the opposition in advance. He said that the purpose of this is to take some action against the members.

Aleem said that even though Qasim is detained, the opposition coalition will continue to do what they have been doing and when the time comes the will file a censure motion against Speaker Maseeh.

It is believed that if the opposition gains the majority in the parliament, a lot of members will join the opposition coalition.
