Former Defense Minister Colonel (Rtd) Nazim and president of Adhalath Party Sheikh Imran has been changed to house arrest on the occasion of Ramadan. Colonel Nazim is serving a 13-year prison sentence for forcibly “possessing” a pistol while Sheikh Imran is serving 11 years for acts of so called terrorism in the Mayday Rally of 2015..

Colonel Nazim was sentenced before police completed their investigation. The new-found evidence by police could actually change the guilty verdict on Nazim. However, no state authority is willing to look into the case. PG is still Under “Mumm”.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Imran’s appeal procedure has not been completed yet.

According to officials, both of them will be at home till the end of Ramadan.
