Former President Nasheed requests to meet former Vice President Adeeb

Former President Nasheed has requested to meet former Vice President Ahmed Adeeb. At the moment Ahmed Adeeb is serving jail term of 33 years on terrorism related crimes.
MDP stated that Adeeb’s family sought the party’s help regarding Adeeb’s health and hence former president the party’s leader has requested the home minister to allow three of his representatives to meet Adeeb.
The three representatives requested by Nasheed are Hassan Latheef the Chairperson of MDF, Mohammed Shifaz the VP of MDP, and Ibrahim Muhamed Solih the PG leader of MDP.
According to Adeeb’s family he is suffering from serious illnesses including internal cysts, glaucoma, and kidney stones. Adeeb’s legal team say that Adeeb could lose his eye sight and die in prison if left untreated.
