Dhiraagu has provided brand new computers and high-speed internet for free to the children’s shelter in Villimale’. In addition they donated some books to the library of the shelter.
In a ceremony held at Ministry of Gender and Family today these gifts were handed over to the shelter by CEO and MD of Dhiraagu Ismail Rasheed. Permeant Secretory of Gender Ministry Aminath Shifana accepted it on their behalf.
As part of Dhiraaagu’s CSR, children’s health and education is a focus area. Dhiraagu provided assistance to the children’s shelter even before. These include salaries of some staffs and free internet to the center.
Furthermore, the annual Dhiraagu road race also promotes protecting children. Dhiraagu conduct various CSR programs every year.
