Anti-Corruption Commission of the Maldives have started investigating the case of offering bribes to MP Falaah. According to sources ACC started investigating the case proactively. However no further details of the case has been revealed yet.
Speaking at a press conference held by the parliamentary groups of PPM and MDA, MP Falaah said that the opposition offered 32 million Rufiyaa to him to sign the impeachment motion against speaker Maseeh. Even though Falaah said that he filed the case to the police, both police and ACC has denied that.
