Economic Ministry has contracted MPL with providing bus services in Male’, Kulhudhuhfushi and Laamu Atoll.
In a ceremony held today, Economic Minister Saeed signed the agreement with MPL while Ibrahim Razzaq Haleem the CEO of MPL signed on behalf of the company.
Speaking at the ceremony, Haleem said that while they are going to start the bus service in Laamu Atoll within a month they are also getting ready to start bus service in Kulhudhuhfushi. In addition he said that soon they will start bus service in Male’ as well.
“MPL will provide this service with pride” said Haleem. Haleem said that they plan to bring mini busses suitable for narrow roads in Fuvahmulah and Kulhudhuhfushi.
