President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has appointed Dr. Fazeel Najeeb as Minister of State. The appointment was made on 20th September 2017. Dr. Fazeel Najeeb will serve at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Dr. Fazeel Najeeb has previously served as the Governer at the Maldives Monetary Atuthority for five years. He has also served at the Trade Ministry from 1987 to 2004 at different levels, especially in the areas of investment and international cooperation.

Dr. Fazeel Najeeb has completed his Master’s Degree in International Business Law, in Britain.
