Hong Kong Airlines have decided to begin scheduled flights to Maldives starting from next year.
The airline will begin the flights on 16th January and plans to conduct three flights per week. The flights will be on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The airline said that this will benefit both the countries.
The airline said that the records show that the tourism of Maldives has increased by 5.9 percent in the past 8 months and hence they believe that there is a huge demand for Maldives.
Hong Kong Airlines will used Airbus A300-330 flights which can seat 260 people.
