President Yameen have said that civil servants with the lowest salary will get their salaries increased by 37 percent and the rest of the civil servants will get their salaries increased by 25 percent.
Speaking at the rally held tonight to mark the 4th anniversary of the current administration, the president said that by the end of this 5-year term more than 100,000 jobs will be created.
President Yameen said that the new 25-storey IGMH building and the Treetop Hospital are not being developed to provide job for foreigners but for Maldivians. President said that the students who complete the TVET program will get jobs.
In addition, he said that the government has freed 429 prisoners and allowed them to attend jobs. Furthermore, he said that the government cleared criminal records of 5752 people, and enabled them to apply for government jobs.
