The Civil Court verdict against Sharu Launch Service has revealed that Mauritius Commercial Bank also had a hand in the fraud case.
When Civil Court issued the verdict regarding the bounce checks given to two parties by Sharoo Launch Services, the court ordered Sharu Launch Service and MCB to pay back the money. Civil Court gave this order because, the stamps on the checks given by Sharoo Launch Services had the stamp of MCB.
This incident has created mistrusts in the society against banks. Now, some companies accept the bank guarantee when it is submitted with the finger print of the bank manager.
