Maldivian National Defense Force state that a fishing boat from has found a capsized Sri Lankan boat in Maldives. The Sri Lankan boat is a 30 foot long fishing boat and was found 73 miles from Shaviyani Atoll.

Information Officer of MNDF, Captain Ibrahim Azim said that there was no one to be found near the boat.

The Maldivian fishing boat which found the Lankan boat is now taking it to Maduvvvari and they are helped by MNDF Northern Command.

After the recent cyclone Ochi, many such boats have been discovered in the territorial waters of Maldives.
