Chancellor of Islamic University of Maldives and the former Islamic Minister of Maldives, Dr.Shaheem Ali Saeed have tweeted saying that he might return to politics. However he did not reveal any further details.

Dr.Shaheem left Adhalath Party last year and said that he was leaving politics for the time being. However, he has attended some rallies held by ruling PPM.

Dr.Shaheem is a renowned scholar and never hesitate to speak the truth. He resigned from the position of the state minister of Islamic Ministry during MDP administration when MDP government tried to legalize alcohol.
