President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a message of condolence to the President of the Russia, His Excellency Vladimir V. Putin, following the crash of Russian airliner Flight SOV703 near Moscow, resulting in the tragic loss of many innocent lives.
The President’s message reads as follows:
“It was with deep shock and sadness that I received the news of the crash of Russian airliner Flight SOV703 near Moscow, resulting in the tragic loss of many innocent lives.”
“At this most difficult hour of national grief, the Government and the people of Maldives join me in extending our profound sympathy to you, the Government and the people of Russia.”
“Please also convey our heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families.”
