Vice President-elect Faisal Naseem has thanked the members of Kaashidhoo constituency which he represents in the parliament. Upon assuming office of the vice president, Faisal will leave the parliament. 

Faisal said that he wants to thank the people of his constituency because he got the VP position while he was their member. 

He said that the country experienced turbulent times during the 4 years and 6 months he was in the parliament. “The work we did in the parliament was a success because everyone worked together. I worked in accordance with the ideas and opinions from citizens all over the nation. I thank everyone” said Faisal. 

Faisal also thanked the people of Fuvahmulah, his home island. “I note that the development we got today is because the president-elect worked together with everyone. I thank him for that” said Faisal. 

Faisal also thanked all the parliament members who worked in national interest. He said that the coalition will decide the next parliament member who will compete for Kaashidhoo constituency.
