National airline, Maldivian has decided to operate to Thimarafushi Airport at night. Previously, flights to the airport were operated only during the day.

The first flight will land at Thimarafushi Airport tomorrow night and the airline plans to invite the media to the event. 

Thimarafushi Airport was officially opened in September 2013 by President Dr.Waheed Hassan Manik. The airport was developed by MTCC.
