Capital Market Development Authority in collaboration with Women on Boards has commenced a Directors Training Program (DTP)from 15th Jan to 17th Jan 2019.

DTPis a three - day training program offered to board directors and senior executives of listed companies, state owned enterprises and private companies and to anyindividual pursuing board directorship or a senior executive positionin a company.

The programaims to educate the participants on the key aspects of corporate governance and the duties of the board towards implementinga governance framework in their companies.

The program will also cover fundamental aspects of the Companies’ Law, Auditing, Anti- Corruption and the current tax system, with the aim to better prepare the participants for their role as board directors.

The facilitators of the program are local professionals. A total of 27 participants registered to undertake the program.
