A cleaning program was conducted at Villimale’ today. More than 25 tons of waste was removed from Villimale’.

The program was officially launched by Vice President Faisal Naseem. Officials of WAMCO, Male’ City Council and members of the public took part in the event. 

Speaking about the event, an official of WAMCO said that they cleaned the industrial area, the parks, beaches and some streets of Villimale’. He said that most of the garbage are plastic items. 

The program will be held from time to time in various parts of the country.
