Tourism Minister Ali Waheed has stated that the no confidence motion against Defence Minister Mariya Didi is baseless and that it will not succeed. 

Ali Waheed said that the minister is courageous and a capable minister. He said that some people are trying to destabilize the nation and it will not be successful. 

Meanwhile, joint PG Leader Abdullah Riyaz also tweeted saying that they will fail the no confidence motion against the Defence Minister. 

Interim President of PNC, Abdullah Abduh Raheem stated that his party will submit a no confidence motion against the Defence Minister within this week.
