Rasfannu beach has been reopened. The beach was closed after signs of sewage leak was found in the area.

According to sources, Health Protection Agency cleared to reopen the beach. 

According to Male’ City Council, they resolved the problem and tests conducted by HPA also shows that it is safe. 

Even previously, the beach was closed after a sewage pipe leaked in that area.
