In the last two months, 15 people from B.Kendhoo has been diagnosed with dengue fever.

The island council of the island has advised the people to take precaution since the fever is spreading in the island. 

The council asked the people to wear clothes that can cover the body while going out and to focus on better hygiene in general. 

According to sources, even now 6 people from the island are admitted at the hospital and it is likely that they have the fever as well. 

Abdul Jaleel Ibrahim the assistant community health officer of the island’s health center said that so far no one has been in a serious condition and they are working with relevant authorities to treat those who were diagnosed with the fever.
