Sheikh Ilyas Hussein has stated that no other religion can be introduced in the Maldives in the name of development or legal reform. He said that any attempts to do so will be unsuccessful. 

He said that the history will witness that the people of Maldives will not allow any other religion in the Maldives. He said that it will be foolish even to attempt to do so. 

Ilyas asked the people of Maldives to be careful about this.
