Maldives Airport Company Ltd opens the eastern side parking area at Velana International Airport on 15th July 2019  to accommodate to airport users.

The east side parking was opened by the Acting Managing Director of MACL Mr. Moosa Solih. The total plot area of 4250 sqm can accommodate up to 11 vehicles and 862 motorcycles.  

The west side parking space of 4993 sqm was opened last year which accommodates up to 36 vehicles and 830 motor cycles.
