Ahmed Naseer the governor of Maldives Monetary Authority has decided to resign.

According to some sources he has told the staffs of MMA that he intends to resign. However the President’s Office haven’t confirmed it yet. 

Ahmed Naseer is resigning at a time the MMPRC corruption scandal Is being investigated and some people accuse him of facilitating it.
