Maldives Airports Company Limited has decided to distribute bonuses after the annual general assembly of the company. 

MACL’s acting managing director Moosa Solih issued a memo stated that there are delays in giving bonus because there were delays in completing last year’s financial audit and approving this year’s budget. He said that it took time to complete these tasks because this year the company’s expenditure will increase. 

Earlier this month, the Finance Ministry made a regulation stating that companies with majority government stakes should distribute the bonuses after the annual general assembly. 

MACL stated that they are planning to hold the AGM within this month.
