The government has announced that they plan to lease lands from 11 islands for tourism.

Speaking at the event held last night to launch the tourism master plan of Maldives, President Solih said that the government has selected 11 islands where lands will be leased for tourism. 

The 11 islands are Ha.Filladhoo, Ha.Uligan, Ha.Kela, L.Gan, Fuvahmulah and 6 islands from Addu City. 

President Solih said that he hopes that it will be an important work for the development of Maldives.
