Maldives Police Service has arrested a major drug dealer from a northern island.

Maldives Police Service stated that in an operation conducted by the Intelligence Department and the Drug Enforcement Department of Maldives Service, the dealer was arrested with six kilograms of drugs. 

Commissioner of Police Mohammed Hameedh tweeted today congratulating and thanking the police officers who took part in the operation.
