Maldivian ambassador to Sri Lanka Omar Abduh Razzak has met with the Controller General of Immigration and Emigration and discussed on easing visa regulations for Maldivians.

According to Foreign Ministry the controller assured that soon, visa regulations for Maldivians living in Sri Lanka and Maldivians who visit Sri Lanka will be eased. 

After the April bombings in Sri Lanka security has been tightened in the country.
