Former Foreign Minister of India Sushma Swaraj has passed away minutes after congratulating Indian PM Narendra Modi for revoking article 370 of the Indian constitution. 

This article grants significant autonomy to Kashmir. However the government of India has decided to revoke the article and make Kashmir part of the Indian Union Territory. 

Sushma tweeted congratulating Modi and she suffered a cardiac arrest shortly after that. She was taken to a hospital in New Delhi and she died while she was undergoing treatment.
