Maldivian men’s national volley team departs to Nepal

The national men’s volley team has departed to Nepal to take part in Asian Volleyball Confederation Central Zone Volleyball Championship. 

A total of 7 countries are taking part in this year’s competition and they are divided into two groups. Group A consists of Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. While group B consists of Maldives, Nepal and Kyrgyzstan. 

The first match of the competition will be on Monday and Maldives will play against Nepal. Maldives will play against Kyrgyzstan on Tuesday. 

Mohammed Sajid the national coach said that they are ready for the competition. “We want a gold medal now. We are going to play with that aim” said Sajidh.
