Speaker of the parliament, Mohammed Nasheed has requested the parliament to pass the supplementary budget tomorrow. 

The government has sent a supplementary budget of 1.7 billion Rufiyaa. He said that the budget should be sent to a joint committee of the financial and the economic committee. 

In addition he said that the parliament should analyze the budget today and that they should submit it to the floor of the parliament for voting tomorrow. He said that the MPs will get the chance to amend it tomorrow and the target is to pass the budget tomorrow.
