President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has arrived in Meedhoo island of North Maalhosmadulu Atoll today as the first stop of a two-day trip to Raa atoll. The President was warmly welcomed by the residents upon arrival to the island.

During this trip, the President is scheduled to meet with council members and senior institutional representatives from Meedhoo and will also hold discussions with Ungoofaaru island council later today.

The second stop of the President's trip to North Maalhosmadulu Atoll is to Alifushi Island, where he is scheduled to meet with council members and senior institutional representatives of the island, followed by a meeting with the North Maalhosmadulu Atoll Council.

The President’s will also be unveiling the monument and joining the celebratory event for the Golden Jubilee of Alifushi School this evening.
