One hundred tour agents from 4 different countries has arrived in the Maldives for a three day program organized by FTI. 

The tour agents are staying in Adaran Hudhuranfushi Resort. The tour agents are from Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Slovakia. 

A special ceremony was held at the resort last night to welcome the tour agents and the chief guest of the function was speaker of the parliament Mohammed Nasheed. Speaking at the ceremony Nasheed said that tourists visit Maldives because tour agents in Europe and other parts of the world promotes Maldives. 

In addition Nasheed said that after the change in the government, Maldives has got the attention of many people and that he hopes such programs will increase the number of tourists to Maldives. 

This program organized by FTI and Adaran aims to promote Maldives among travel agents.
