A team of investigators from the Anti Corruption Commision of the Maldives has entered the secretariat of Male’ City Council this morning.

According to some sources ACC entered the offices of Male’ City Council unannounced around at 10:45 am. ACC entered the offices after they started investigating the City Council for contracting the development of some buildings near the bridge viewing platform of Male’. 

According to some councilors, the mayor of Male’ City and some councilors contracted the work without proper bidding process.
