Finance ministry has sent the budget for 2020 to the Majlis. According to the ministry, the budget was sent to the parliament yesterday.

No further details have been revealed about the budget. However, in the fiscal strategy of 2020 published by the ministry shows that the government has formed a budget of 39.6 billion Rufiyaa. 

The budget has a deficit of 6 percent in comparison to the GDP. 

While the government proposed a 39 billion Rufiyaa budget for next year the current year’s budget is 30 billion Rufiyaa.
