Maldivian National Defence Force has stated that they found drugs in the Iranian vessel found in Maldivian territory. 

According to MNDF, they stopped the boat after they received information that an unknown vessel is travelling inside Maldivian waters. Maldives Police Service and Maldivian National Defence Force jointly conducted an operation around 11:40 am earlier today. The boat was stopped 4.8 miles off the coast of AA.Mandhoo. 

Police and MNDF boarded the boat and they found illegal narcotics on the boat. Now Police and MNDF are searching the boat to see whether it has any more drugs. 

There were 7 Iranian men on board the vessel.
