The Judicial Service Commission of the Maldives has suspended Dr.Ahmed Abdullah Didi the Chief Justice of the Maldives and Supreme Court Justice Adam Mohammed Abdullah.

The JSC suspended these two judges for 60 days and also stated that they intend to remove these two judges from the bench. A statement by the commission states that the judges were suspended due to the nature of the cases being investigated against the judges. 

In addition they stated that the two judges do not conduct themselves in the manger expected of judges.
