A six year old student of Dhondhooni Little Learners Preschool has memorized the Holy Quran.

Yousuf Bin Maazin who is studying in UKG of the school memorized the Holy Quran. In the graduation ceremony of the school, which was held earlier this week, he was given an award of recognition.

The award was handed over to Yousuf by Dr.Ahmed Zahir the minister of Islamic Affairs. Yousuf began memorizing the Quran while studying at baby nursery. He learned one Juz back then and then learned two more in nursery. He then learned 5 Juz in LKG and then learned 22 Juz this year. 

Yousuf’s mother Ummu Hany has also won a Quran competition before.
