The Civil Service Commission of the Maldives and Chinese Academy of Governance has today begun a capacity training seminar.

The seminar is being held in Male’ and was officially inaugurated by the Chinese Ambassador to the Maldives His Excellency Zhang Lizhong.

Tweeting about the seminar, the ambassador said that since 2014, 1200 persons from Maldives have received training opportunities under the program of South-South Cooperation.
China is a close ally of Maldives and provides training opportunities to Maldivians in various fields.

China also invested and assisted in various infrastructure projects conducted in the Maldives in the last few years.
