The Criminal Court will issue a verdict on the money laundering case against former President Yameen tomorrow.

The court has set a hearing at 1330 hours on Thursday. The former president was charged with money laundering after SOF, a private company which is believed to have laundered MMPRC’s embezzled funds transferred 1 million dollars to the bank account of President Yameen.

If convicted, President Yameen will be jailed for a period between 5 to 15 years.
