President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has sent a message of condolence to the King of Saudi Arabia, His Majesty, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the passing of his brother, His Highness Prince Mitteb Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The President’s message reads as follows:

“Your Majesty, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud

It is with deep sorrow that I learned of the passing of Your Majesty's brother, His Highness Prince Mitteb Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. I offer my condolences to both your Majesty and to His Royal Highness, Prince Mansour bin Mitteb Bin Abdul Aziz, son of the deceased.

At the difficult time for Your Majesty's family I extend my deepest sympathies on behalf of the Maldivian government and people, who join me in praying that Allah (swt) grant Prince Mitteb's soul eternal peace in Jannat ul Firdous.”
