Addu tertiary hospital will be opened on next Sunday according to the Health Ministry.

The 100-bed hospital will be open to the public starting from Sunday and services such as x-ray, OPD, lab services, physiotherapy and cardio will be available. In addition when the hospital is officially opened, dental service, urology service and many other services will be available from the hospital.

The work of the hospital began in 2016. It was contracted to ALIA construction for MVR 16 million.
